You might sometimes get into issues regarding the license you have with 2Day. In particular, after purchasing the app or changing a device, you might get back to the “trial” state in 2Day. This issues is related to the roaming of licenses with the Windows Store (on Windows and Windows Phone).
This page gives a few tips to fix that kind of issue. The following applies only if you are using the exact same Microsoft Account on all your devices.
In the Windows Phone store, even though you own an app, the button will have the “Buy” label. Press this button once do show the confirmation dialog. If you already bought the app, a confirmation message like this will be shown: “You already own this app, do you want to reinstall ?”
You can use the Windows Store app, use the following steps:
- Launch the Windows Store app
- Open the charm bar (press Windows and ‘C’ on your keyboard) and choose “Settings”
- Choose “Application updates”
- Click on “Sync licenses”
Windows 10 seems to be randomly causing problems with licenses acquired for store apps. In particular, a valid license from the store might still put the app in a trial state. The following steps can fix this issue:
- Open the start menu
- Type “Command prompt”
- Type wsreset in the prompt
- Press enter
If that doesn’t help, you can try this manipulation after uninstalling and reinstalling 2Day. If you want to keep your content you must backup 2 important files located at %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\62844Chartreuse.2Day_j6whz2c319cty\LocalState: sync.xml and 2day.db.
After reinstallation you can copy/paste those 2 files back to this location.
